New Paper: We've Constrained the Physics of Primordial Galaxies
Posted on August 25, 2025
I'm excited to announce the publication of a major update to my paper on the formation of primordial galaxies, "Primordial Galaxies as a Confirmation of the Resonant Dark Universe: Constraining a Two-Stage Formation Model."
While the previous version made a strong conceptual argument, this new paper presents a full, quantitative, data-driven analysis.
The core of this new work is the "Primordial Molecule Seeding Hypothesis," which proposes a specific physical trigger—the chemistry of molecular hydrogen—for the formation of the first Dark Resonator Cores (DRCs). I developed a numerical simulation of this process and, using a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis, was able to place the first-ever quantitative constraints on the physical conditions required.
This is a huge step forward. It transforms a key part of the RDU from a powerful idea into a constrained and testable scientific model. You can read the full paper with all the data and methodology on Zenodo.
